A search engine for verified professional experts — academics, consultants, and firms — across every country in the world.
FindExperts was founded in Zurich in 2021 to solve a specific problem: finding a qualified expert in a particular field and particular country was unreasonably hard. Generic business directories buried quality firms under low-value listings. Academic databases stopped at university gates. Consultancy rosters were paywalled.
We built a single directory covering academic experts, management consultants, law firms, tax advisors, engineering practices, and other professional service providers — verified, organised by country and specialty, and refreshed from public sources daily.
What we publish
Each profile is a structured page: company or individual name, headquarters, specialty, founded year, notable engagements or publications, contact information, and a verified summary of services. We focus on real, active professionals — not shell listings or defunct firms.
How we verify
Every profile is checked against:
- Official business registry or regulatory filings (bar associations, tax consultancy rosters, chamber of commerce)
- University and research institute directories
- Verified website and communication channels
- At least one independent third-party source confirming current activity
Profiles we can't verify against at least two independent sources are not published.
Our coverage
We aim to cover all 195 UN-recognised countries. Some markets (Switzerland, UK, US, France, Germany, UAE, Singapore) have denser coverage because of the volume of active firms. Other markets are growing. Every week we add new verified profiles to the least-covered country/specialty combinations.
Who writes
Our editorial team is led by Claudia Weber, a former corporate lawyer and consultant based in Zurich. Research is supported by a distributed network of regional contributors who speak local languages and understand local regulatory context.
How we stay independent
FindExperts accepts no pay-for-placement. Firms cannot buy ranking, priority listing, or visibility. Our revenue comes from a paid "verified premium" tier (additional detail, logo placement, featured contact form) that does not affect placement in searches or category pages.
Corrections
If any profile contains outdated or inaccurate information, email [email protected] with the URL and correction. We review within one working day.
